Then Chief Minister of Kerala,   K Karunakaran released first copy to K Raveendranathan Nair ( General Pictures ) A  specialized publication, without usual stories and fiction was new to the market in 1984. Thengamom Balakrishnan , presided over the function. Pandalam Sudhakaran MLA, Dr. Sreenivasan, N V Krishnawarior, Noornadu Haneef etc  felicitated.
